The new Artarctic capsule collection by KOHRO for 2025 is an exclusive offering, a tribute to the majestic beauty of Arctic landscapes.

 

Unveiled during Paris Déco Off, a must-attend event for international interior designers and décor editors, the fabric collection complements an extensive catalog of over 200 articles in more than 4000 color variations. This wide range of fabrics, ideal for upholstery, curtains, home accessories, bedding, and tableware, draws inspiration from the echoes and atmospheres of different times and places, offering refined solutions to dress every room of the home.

The 2025 Capsule: Arctic Inspirations

Artarctic takes you on a journey to the heart of the great north, where glacial silence and ice crystals dance between light and reflections. This new KOHRO offering captures the essence of those remote places in fine fabrics characterized by refined micropatterns that evoke the abstract geometries of snow and ice.

 

Natural textile bases of linen, silk, and cotton are enhanced by the skilled use of modal, which adds sheen and a soft hand to the fabrics. The color palette ranges from the crystalline blue of water to tundra green, warm browns, and rust hues reminiscent of Arctic mosses and foliage. Vibrant touches inspired by colorful Scandinavian houses complement a refined interplay of cool whites, ivories, grays, and violet tones.

Seven Outstanding Fabrics

The Artarctic capsule features seven exclusive fabrics, each with its own story and distinctive character:

Tromso – A vibrant fabric in linen, cotton, and modal, ideal for upholstery and accessories. With a soft yet durable hand, Tromso boasts a color palette that captures Nordic charm, with bright hues such as green, blue, and orange accents reminiscent of Norwegian wooden houses.

 

Nautilus – Inspired by the marine world, Nautilus combines cotton and modal for a soft and flowing structure. The iridescent base, thanks to a mélange yarn, creates an elegant striped effect. Available in fourteen color variants, from neutrals to more intense reds and browns.

Barents – A premium fabric in cotton and silk, perfect for light decorations and bedding. Its dynamic design, inspired by iceberg fragments, gives a three-dimensional effect, while the silk's sheen illuminates the base. Available in seven tones ranging from aquamarine to tundra green.

 

Blizzard – A heavy damask in pure cotton, Blizzard stands out for its versatility and soft hand. Suitable for both bedding and light decorations as well as wallcoverings, it offers four color variants ranging from blues to greens and warm tones.

Kiviniq – With a soft geometry that recalls the circles created by rain, Kiviniq combines cotton and metallic inserts for a luminous and three-dimensional effect. Available in different color variations ranging from blue, green, and light blue, it is ideal for interior decorations, light upholstery, and bedding.

 

Khanty – Inspired by the culture of the indigenous Siberian people, Khanty is a cotton fabric characterized by a geometric and linear design. Available in contemporary color variations, greens, blues, purples, and yellows, it adapts perfectly to cushions, blankets, drapes, and bed sets.

Nantucket – A must-have reversible fabric in linen and cotton, characterized by a distinctive slubbing. It takes its name from the American island famous for whale watching and stands out for its contemporary urban style. Available in a wide color palette, in cold tones ranging from white to gray, blue, green, and in more vibrant nuances.
